Privacy Policy

ClosetMindAI is operated by Marcos Antonio Soris Duque (“ClosetMindAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how the ClosetMindAI iOS app, website, and related services collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information.

Account and contact information may include your name, email address, user ID, authentication provider, profile photo, selected language, and account settings.

Closet and styling information may include garment and label photos, garment descriptions and metadata, favorites, laundry status, preferences, ratings, outfit history, saved outfits, Wear This activity, requests to ClosetMindAI, recent conversation context, and the occasion, mood, weather, or other context you choose to use.

If you enable ClosetMindAI Preview, we process the full-body reference you provide, selected garment images, generated previews, generation status, and related quality or version metadata. Fit, proportions, color, and fabric appearance in an AI-generated preview may vary.

We also process purchase and subscription status supplied through Apple; product interactions; device or installation identifiers used by our service providers; app and operating-system versions; and crash, performance, and other diagnostic data. When you permit location access, current coordinates are used to obtain weather context. ClosetMindAI does not continuously track your location.

We receive information directly from you when you create an account, add clothing, upload a photo, speak or type to ClosetMindAI, rate an outfit, request a Preview, contact support, or otherwise use the service.

We receive subscription and transaction status from Apple, authentication information from the sign-in provider you choose, weather information from Open-Meteo after a permitted location request, and operational information from the technologies that run and protect the service.

Our website uses strictly necessary security and session technologies. Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and may process network and device information. Cloudflare Turnstile may process interaction and technical signals to distinguish people from abusive automated traffic. Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure aggregated website use when enabled.

If you choose to allow referral attribution after following an Ambassador or referral link, we create a random click identifier and record the referral code, time, landing path, broad browser or device category, country supplied by our infrastructure, and a keyed one-way hash derived from the IP address for abuse prevention. A secure HTTP-only referral cookie may remain for up to 30 days so an eligible signup or Premium purchase can be attributed. If you decline, no attribution click or cookie is created. You can remove the saved cookie from the invitation page; this does not reverse a referral already claimed to an account. An unclaimed click record is scheduled for deletion no later than 37 days after collection. Ambassadors receive aggregated performance and anonymous referral references, not the referred person's name, email, IP address, Apple ID, payment information, or transaction ID.

ClosetMindAI may use Apple technologies such as Vision, Core ML, Foundation Models, and Speech on your device when they are supported and suitable. On-device processing can assist with image quality, garment details, voice transcription, and styling requests without sending the raw input to an AI provider.

Voice audio is not stored or uploaded by default. A local transcript is placed in the message composer for your review. If you choose to send it, the transcript becomes part of your ClosetMindAI message and is handled like typed text.

When additional capability is needed, approved information is sent securely through our Firebase/Google backend to OpenAI. Provider selection is automatic; you do not need to choose a technology.

Before cloud photo analysis or cloud conversation processing, ClosetMindAI asks for separate consent. If you accept, selected garment or label photos, saved garment photos requested for review, your message and limited recent conversation, and the minimum relevant closet, outfit, preference, occasion, mood, or weather context may be sent to OpenAI through our secure backend.

ClosetMindAI Preview has a separate consent. Only when you request a Preview may your private full-body reference and selected outfit images be sent to OpenAI for image generation. We do not upload depth maps by default.

You may decline or revoke future AI sharing in Profile > AI & Privacy. Revoking consent prevents new covered requests from that installation; it does not undo processing already completed or automatically remove information stored as part of your account. Features that can operate locally may continue without this consent.

We do not use your content to train our own models or authorize a provider to train models on it unless we first obtain separate, explicit consent.

We use information to authenticate you; maintain and synchronize your digital closet; classify garments; generate, rank, explain, and improve outfit recommendations; provide weather-aware styling; operate ClosetMindAI and ClosetMindAI Preview; validate Premium access; restore purchases; respond to support and feedback; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; protect accounts; and improve performance and reliability.

Local AI suggestions do not determine subscriptions, entitlements, referral accounting, or other authoritative account decisions. Those operations remain verified by the relevant backend or Apple.

We use Firebase and other Google services for authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, app integrity, analytics, crash reporting, and Google Sign-In; OpenAI for consented cloud AI processing and image generation; Apple for Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, subscriptions, and distribution; Open-Meteo for weather data; and Cloudflare for website hosting, security, bot protection, rate limiting, and analytics when enabled.

Our agreements and the providers' applicable terms limit processing to the services they perform and require appropriate safeguards. We require service providers that receive personal information to provide the same or equivalent level of privacy protection described by this policy and required by applicable law. Each provider also publishes its own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information. ClosetMindAI does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking in the audited release.

Account content generally remains available while your account is active. Specific controls let you replace or remove a body reference, delete generated Previews, remove closet content, clear conversation history where offered, revoke future AI sharing, or delete the account.

Removing a closet item takes it out of the normal product experience, but limited records or backups may remain until account deletion or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal, and operational needs. Purchase records and other information may be retained where required to verify transactions or comply with law. Service providers may apply their own documented retention rules.

You can manage camera, photos, microphone, speech-recognition, and location permissions in iOS Settings. You can manage AI consent in the app, edit closet details, and delete body-reference and Preview data from ClosetMindAI Preview settings.

You can permanently delete your ClosetMindAI account and associated app data from the in-app account controls after reauthentication. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple. For help with access, correction, deletion, portability, or another applicable privacy right, contact closetmindai.support@gmail.com.

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access and restricted storage paths. No system can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own under their safeguards and applicable law.

ClosetMindAI is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental authorization, that requirement applies. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without the required authorization.

We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
